Product Care

All our jewellery is crafted with Gold Vermeil, a quality benchmark that sets it apart from regular "gold-plated jewellery" due to it's higher standards. After solid gold, gold vermeil is the highest quality type of gold tone jewellery that you can buy.

We use recycled 925 sterling silver as the base, with an 18k gold overlay - unless stated otherwise. Each piece of our jewellery is plated with a minimum of 10 microns for lasting quality and durability.

We believe that your cherished pieces deserve the utmost care. Here are simple steps to ensure your jewellery stands the test of time:

1. GENTLE CLEANING:

After wearing your jewellery, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any traces of oils, lotions, or other substances.

2. STORAGE MATTERS:

Store your pieces in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. To prevent scratches, keep them separated or individually wrapped.

3. AVOID HARSH CHEMICALS:

Chemicals in perfumes, cosmetics, and household cleaners can affect the luster of your jewellery. It's best to apply such products before putting on your pieces.

4. REMOVE BEFORE ACTIVITIES:

Take off your jewellery before engaging in activities like swimming, exercising, or cleaning. This helps prevent potential damage and ensures your pieces stay pristine.

5. SPECIAL CARE FOR PEARLS:

Be extra gentle freshwater pearls and gemstones as they are delicate, and direct exposure to harsh elements can harm their luster.

By following these simple steps, you can enjoy your Tale Thoughts jewellery for years to come. Remember, proper care enhances the longevity and beauty of your precious treasures.
